What is an article?
An article is an adjective that modifies a noun. They differ from adjectives, as adjectives provide descriptions to modify nouns, but articles refer to nouns.
The Two Types of Articles:
They are classified into two types:
- Definite Article
- Indefinite Article
Definite Article:
The word “the” is the definite article. It addresses the nouns the reader or author is familiar with.
