You must have heard about Indefinite Pronoun! Indefinite pronouns replace nouns by referring to things or people in a general way. They don’t specify any person or object. Let’s explore what are indefinite pronouns and how to use them.

The indefinite pronoun replaces nouns and refers to things or people without specifying them. For example: “Someone is coming.” In this example, we know that any person or human is coming but we are not specifying by saying the word “human.”

Most indefinite pronouns are formed by combining words like no, any, body, some, every, thing, one etc. Although there are some exceptions, for the words that don’t follow this method. These include little or many etc.

Indefinite Pronouns represent non-specific objects, places, or things. Examples include each, all, both, any, every, many, few, neither, nobody, and none.
